Abstract
In order to study the influence of chemical components on the smoking aroma quality and smoking aroma concentration in tobacco leaves, the correlation between the chemical components and smoking aroma concentration or quality of tobacco leaves from Pingdingshan was analyzed by using grey relational degree method. The results showed that there was significant grey correlation between reducing sugar, total sugar content and smoking aroma concentration or quality. Thus, these two chemical components had great influence on smoking aroma concentration or quality. There was the least grey correlation between total nitrogen content and smoking aroma, and its influence was little.
