Abstract
The aim of this chapter is to provide an introductory overview of integrated land use-transportation modeling. The objectives are to sketch the general structure of such models, presenting some of the key modeling principles and methods typically used in current models, and to discuss some of the critical design and implementation issues that a planning agency should consider in the development and use of such a model.
