Narratív modellek és stratégiák, nyelvi reflexió és interkulturalitás a 'klasszikus modernség' német nyelvű és magyar irodalmában = Narrative models and strategies, language reflection and interculturality in the German speaking and Hungarian Literature in the age of 'Classical Modernism'

A projekt az általános előfeltevések és vizsgálatok alapján a 'klasszikus modernség' korszakának német nyelvű és magyar irodalmában vizsgálta a narratív modellek és stratégiák, a nyelvi reflexió és az interkulturalitás kérdéskörét, különös tekintettel ezen belül az Osztrák-Magyar Monarchia irodalmára és kultúrájára, mivel az mintegy sűrítve mutatja fel a korszak sokrétűen szerteágazó problémáit. Fontos helyet kapott a kutatásokban a problémakörök korabeli - filozófiai, ideológiakritikai - reflexiója, e reflexió egyes "csomópontjainak" feltárása, elemzése, különös tekintettel azok mai irodalomtudományos, a kultúratudományok felé való nyitást is részben meghatározó recepciójára és diszkussziójára. Összefoglalóan megállapítható, hogy a projekt munkatervében foglaltakat a résztvevők teljesítették, sőt a konferencia anyagát tartalmazó tanulmánykötet megjelentetésével túl is teljesítették. A három év alatt megtartott előadások, a megjelent tanulmányok, a magyar nyelvű publicisztikai válogatáskötet, a monográfia, valamint a nemzetközi konferencia és a tanulmánykötet külön-külön és együttesen hozzájárulnak az eredmények szélesebb körű megismertetéséhez, felsőoktatási és kutatási hasznosításához, a vizsgált kérdéseknek a hazai és nemzetközi szakmai diszkussziókba ágyazásához, illetve későbbi kutatások folytatásához, további módszertani megalapozásukhoz. | The project examined the questions of narrative models and strategies, of reflection on the language and of interculturality in the Hungarian and German language culture of the classical modernism with special regard to the culture of the Austrian-Hungarian Monarchy. The research was focussed on the traditional narrative genres and on the possible transfers between culturally specific narrative models in essays, feuilletons and autobiographies. These aspects stressed the role of mediality and its philosophical, aesthetic and literary reflection, as well as its function in the process of identity definition. The project participants have published several papers on the theoretical aspects of the research and about case studies, they participated on national and international conferences, published a monography and a selection of the journalism of relevant authors of the modernism in Vienna, with commentaries and foreword. They organised a conference with the participation of Hungarian, Austrian and German researchers on the topic of intercultural narration and problems of popular culture. The lectures of the Conference are published in volume 11 of the series "Budapester Studien zur Literaturwissenschaft" at Peter Lang Publisher. The results of the project can contribute to their embedding into higher education in Hungary, and into international discussions in the field of literary and cultural theory, as well as of German and Hungarian philology.
