Abstract

Increase of stiffness ratio(longitudinal direction stiffness/transverse direction stiffness) cause decrease of live load transverse distribution efficiency. In this study, to evaluate the stiffness ratio effect according to the degree of reflected transverse direction stiffness, two types analysis models are considered. First analysis model consider only cross beam as a transverse direction stiffness and second analysis model consider cross beam and slab as a transverse direction stiffness. From the analysis results, the higher effect of stiffness ratio is analyzed with a increase of reflected transverse direction stiffness. And, the difference of maximum live load distribution coefficient between two types analysis models was increased with decrease of stiffness ratio and increase of girder spacing.
