The major problem of this study is to expose the anxiety of Arthurius Castus reflected in Antoine Fuqua’s Movie The King Arthur. The objectives of the study are; to analyze the structural elements of the movie and to analyze the \ncharacter of Arthurius Castus based on psychoanalytic perspectives developed by Sigmund Freud. \nIn conducting this study, the researcher uses qualitative research in which the data are based on primary data, the script of The King Arthur movie itself. While secondary data are reviews of the movie those are collected from various sources and other data which deal with the research. \nIn analyzing the data, he applies two approaches. Firstly, structural analysis approach is used to analyze the elements of the movie. It consists of characterization, setting, point of view, plot, style, theme, intent or message, cast, mise-en-scene, cinematography, film editing, and sound. Secondly, the psychoanalytic approach is used for analyzing the anxiety of Athurius Castus that influences his personality, social life, and behavior toward life. These approaches are applied in order to get the appropriate analysis and answer the problems. The \nwriter finds that Arthurius Castus as individual who tends to follow his id at the first time. He considers fulfilling his wants by leaving his past life as an Samartian Knights and takes the responsibility for his lives. After his social environment are threatened, his id that wants to be satisfied immediately prevented his ego that make him realizes that it is impossible to live happily under the pressure from his enemies that is Saxon who had taken his land ( Britain ) for almost 15 years. And his superego as his moral awareness has led him to struggle for the freedom of his kingdom. The situation changes his personality; his anxieties have influenced his behavior and the life decisions that he takes.
