Organic solvent extraction techniques were used to separate the mono-and di=alkyl substituted commercial phosphoric acid mixtures.Extraction coef~icients and titration curves for several systems are presented.'I'racer quantities of u 2 33 were extracted by the separated acids. The equilibrium extraction reaction for the moderate-to high-initial-acid syste~ is proposedo \~Tracer u 2 33 extractions by TBP seemed to verify previous studies of the same system by other laboratories.Tracer Pu 2 39 extraction by dibutyl phosphoric acid from HN0 3 solutions are presented" Some preliminar.yexperiments on the separability of u 2 33 and Pu 2 39, by alkyl phosphoric acid extractionjl were undertaken and the data presented ..
