Abstract

As part of the programme of research monitoring the impact of bus deregulation following the 1985 Transport Act, the incidence of competition in the bus industry immediately after deregulation has been identified. This paper lists the examples of competition between public transport operators on services which were due to be operating by around 27 October 1986.
