Abstract

The pathogenicity and biological characteristics of Fusarium oxysporum was studied in this paper. The results indicated that the same symptom as that on naturally infected roots was produced by inoculating the strains onma-turity roots.PDA was a good medium for mycelia growth;the optimum temperature was 25~30℃ for pathogen growth;the mycelial might grow from pH=3 to pH=12,pH6~8 was the best.As the carbon sources, maltose was the best medium for pathogen growth,D-galactose was the most inferior medium. As the nitrogen sources, lysine was the best medium for pathogen growth, methionine was most inferior medium. The overall mood that the same as that the temperature,acidity-basicity,nutrient substance was needed for mycelia growth and conidial germination, effect of illumination was not obvious on conidial germination.
