Abstract
Solitary osteochondromas rarely extend into the spinal canal and compress upon the spinal cord. The authors report a case where the use of magnetic resonance imaging enabled diagnosis of a solitary, intraspinal osteochondroma causing extensive compression of the spinal cord.
