Abstract

617 is a new hybrid late rice combination derived from Yue 4A and restoring line R617.It has the characteristics of good grain quality(reaching Grade 2 of national standard for quality rice),high yield,wide adaptability,good color at the mature stage and so on.This paper introduced the breeding process,main characteristics,yield performance,and techniques of high-yielding cultivation and seed production of Yueyou 617.
