Abstract
The reform of the chilean public electoral system after the Constitutional reform of law was subjected in the last days of a public discussion, after the Constitutio- nal reform in 2005. The government has proposed to reform the electoral system, and replace it by another which allows the minorities to have representation in the Congress.
