Abstract
The shift from analog to digital throughout the transit world is well recognized. Less know are some of the implications and opportunities that are quickly emerging from this technology transition. Utilizing the bus as a data node is a catalyst for entirely new capabilities. This presentation will review the next generation bus data collection and analysis systems and the real-time data that can be provided to transit and public safety authorities. The systems discussed will include vehicle data systems, communications systems and bask office integrated transit systems.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
