Characteristic Modern Agriculture is Mainstream Orientation of Agriculture Modernization in Western China

This paper provides an overview of modern agriculture in the basic content and features,and base on this,characteristics agriculture breeding from traditional agriculture as a breakthrough point and strategic focus is the basic orientation to realize agricultural modernization in the western region.From the development of the western region,labor and land resources,biological species,environmental resources,geospatial,regional characteristics,agriculture,et al,the article analyzes the advantages of development characteristics modern agriculture in western region,and pointed out that to correctly handle the relationship of traditional agriculture and characteristics agriculture,characteristics agriculture and ecological environment,the government and market,short-term and long-term,inter-regional.At the same time,this paper put forward that from support modern agriculture system,rural land,organization style,science and technology system,industrial system,leading mode,social service,main holding,infrastructure,rural reform to make the corresponding system innovation,it is an essential requirement to develop characteristics modern agriculture in the western region.
