Abstract

Supply chain management and logistics represent a new way of managing business and the relationships with other members of the supply chain, as businesses no longer compete as autonomous entities but as supply chains. The paper discusses exploratory empirical findings that are part of research effort to develop a normative model to guide research to capture the potential of successful supply chain management.
