Abstract

In this article, the rail-earth and rail-rail input impedances of a free, shunted and broken railway line are determined mathematically with respect to signaling and traction power systems. Consequently, rail-earth and rail-rail input impedences of double-conductor electrical long lines are found. In this respect, computations have been made, the results of which are addressed in this article.
