Abstract

At the request of the highway engineering department of the municipality of oerebro, the vti has conducted a study of the road safety of pedestrians and cyclists in the city centre, mapping traffic as well as risk and accident levels. A detailed analysis has been made of the road safety situation for these groups at individual sites. The data obtained have been used as a basis in proposing road safety improvements. (a)
