Abstract
The purpose of this study is to further knowledge on the horizontal stability of the track. The author considers the effect of transversal movement on the reliability of the different elements forming the track. He calculates the coefficient of safety against bending of the track on the basis of ballast slip resistance and sleeper rigidity.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
