Abstract
The Geographic Information System (GIS) in the Intelligent Transportation System is introduced in this paper. Basic software of GIS is analyzed, and the selection principle of the basic software determined. The road choice and parameter determination in GIS are discussed. The basic framework of GIS is put forward finally.
