Abstract
The features and possibilities of application of high-speed unconventional craft, their hydrodynamic characteristics, design features and construction materials are described. The concept of the high-speed craft is defined by the relative speed, expressed by a Froude number based on displacement, as well as by the absolute speed. The main features of the nine most frequent types of high-speed craft are given. In order to provide safe high speed sea transport, the importance of the implementation of the IMO Code is pointed out.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
