INTELLIGENT TRANSPORT SYSTEMS FOR MOBILITY IN THE GREATER MUNICH AREA : THE MOBINET PROJECT

MOBINET is a transport management project making use of Intelligent Transport Systems. It is a five year project financed by the German Ministry of Education and Technology in the context of the program Mobility in Metropolitan Areas. Major application areas are: New mobility concepts, multimodal transport supply in rural areas optimization of traffic on the arterial networks, multimedia information service and linking of traffic information and control centers.
