Abstract
A detailed study is made as to whether Vignole rails are the optimum solution for the railway of the future. The rail is successively examined as a running surface, a guideway and a support, taking into account the natural stresses in rails, manufacturing tolerances, propagation of noise and rail welding.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
