Abstract
The Railway Research Institute in Prague has developed an electronic regulating device enabling completely-automatic running programmed according to the train schedule. The authors present the system's concept and outline the operation of blocks as well as the correlation of this system with the continuous automatic control of train running introduced on CSD main lines. Finally, they look into prospects for adapting automatic control on tractive units.
