Abstract
Tohoku Regional Construction Bureau of the Ministry of Construction is involved in the development and operations of various road management systems for achieving advanced and efficient traffic control. Through these efforts, the importance of multiple systems integration to achieve further advanced operational efficiencies in order to deal with intertwined and complicated road management have been identified. This paper describes the present status of the existing road management information system, the problems to be faced, as well as the philosophy and guidelines for highly-prioritized functional integration. For the covering abstract see IRRD E102946.
