Abstract
We tried to predict the hydrodynamic forces acting on ship hull theoretically based on slender body theory. We also expressed the hull form more precisely using mapping function and investigated the effects of initial position of free vortices shed from separation points. From numerical calculations, it is found that the hydrodynamic forces acting on ship hull were predicted with comparatively high accuracy using the present prediction method.
