Abstract
The methods and benefits of extending automated revenue control equipment to monthly patrons of parking garages are discussed in this article. It looks at the different types of monthly accounts, the value of ticketed systems, and the resulting revenue controls and benefits. Despite the fact that there are costs of implementation, as well as customer and employee education and increased investment in software, the benefits of improved occupancy and revenue control, and reductions in office overhead lead to a worthwhile investment.
