Abstract
An approximation method is proposed for the hydrodynamic calculation of the simplest hydrofoil system consisting of two low-submerged hydrofoils and a plane-sectional profile. Semiempirical equations and diagrams (without substantiation) are given which make possible the selection of the dimensions of the hydrofoils and their relative arrangement.
