Abstract
Huangzhuqi Bridge is a bridge built on expressway on the outer loop line of Guangzhou city. The 3 spans in the central part of the bridge are of 50m simply supported T girders. Transportation of the girders, assembly of overhead launching gantry and techniques of side sliding of a girder on an erected one are presented. Practice proves the construction method used in the bridge is safe, economic and convenient, and can be referred to for bridge construction usder similar environment.
