Abstract

The management of a toll road infrastructure is comprised of two strong components: one the management of the supporting business (reception of toll payments) and the other the management of traffic (road operations). Until now both parts have been completely separate with no point of contact whatsoever. The implementation of this project will give the concessionairea tool for a more efficient management of the operation, thus enabling the widening of the scope of intervention. It is understood that different components of the business area may be connected to this infrastructure, taking advantage of the already existing means and resources of road management. The aim of this project is to maximize and capitalize on the technological and human resources by centralizing all the toll road management andtraffic infrastructure.
