Abstract

The main problems connected with it usage are common for naphthalene superplasticizers, i.e. slump loss, in particular at heightened temperatures, sharp response to overdo sages and definite limitations in compatibility with other additives. Among factors influencing the slump loss of superplasticized concrete mixes, the instability of activity of cement is one of the most significant. The particular future of concrete industry in Ukraine is frequently usage of naphthalene superplasticizer “C–3”. Thus the presented paper deals with investigations on the composition of complex additive based on superplasticizer “C–3”. The multifunctional complex admixture for concrete was obtained, which one not only superplasticizes a concrete mixture, but also ensures low slump loss and renders stabilizing influence on viability of concrete mixes based on different cement samples.
