Abstract

This monographic review of the Scolytidae of South America presents keys and descriptions for the identification of 1339 species, including species in selected genera from Mexico and Central America. For a comprehensive list of new replacement names, new combinations, new alignment of genera in Ips and Orthotomicus, new statuses (removed from synonymy), new synonymies of genera and species, and genera and species new to science, download the complete abstract.
