Abstract

This report sets out a forward program for Melbourne metropolitan area for the installation and remodelling of traffic signals and traffic signal linking (including provisions of public transport priority measures) for the five year period 1982/83 - 1986/97, with a firm program for 1982/83. The program includes a consolidation of the commitments and priorities already developed by rosta and the CRB; and the incorporation in consultation with the mmtb, of facilities for establishing priority for public transport vehicles.
