AN EXPERIMENT WITH POROUS CONCRETE TOP LAYER ON J.C.P.

Abstract

The application of porous asphalt is getting very popular in the Netherlands as it contributes substantially to road-safety and noise-reduction. After laboratory tests and two small-scale experiments in the Netherlands it can be concluded that the results give support to the statement that porous concrete toplayers are a realistic concept.
