Heikki Helasharju, Tom Sundell

Open publisher page 2 citations

Abstract

During 1990-1994 a research and development project entitled Shipyard 2000 was carried out in Finland. This paper describes the resistance prediction program developed within this project which is based on the thin ship theory, together with some validations with the model test results and examples of applications. For seakeeping characteristics, the model test results are compared with monohull performance.
