Abstract

The object of this paper is to encourage the examination of human factors in the sectors of the industry involved in advanced ship design on the basis that the vessels will only be as good as the men who operate them. Information on accidents to seamen on UK ships in the period 1970-1976 is given as well as accidents on or near offshore installations. Order from NSFI as No. 19605.
