Abstract
With the implementation of ITS initiatives going full speed ahead, electronic toll roads are no longer a thing of the future. The most advanced automated toll road went into operation in fall of 1997 in Canada. The system implements a multientry/exit open road toll system that enables simultaneous communication with all vehicles within a range of 100 meters, traveling up to 200 km/hour while changing lanes; tolls are based on distances traveled.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
