Abstract

The report assesses the impact of Tampa Alcohol Safety Action Project's countermeasure activities on drinking-driving behavior and alcohol-related motor vehicle accidents. The study concludes there was a significant decline in the proportions of drunk drivers on the road but no noticeable effect on alcohol related accidents.
