Abstract

Barriers to be surmounted in the process of restructuring and reform of monopoly industries in China are analyzed. Worldwide experiences of monopolistic industrial reform in other nations are used for reference. Policy suggestions are offered for deepening the reform process in the Chinese railroad industry.
