Abstract
This paper analyzes transportation-related issues in China, including the state of transportation investments, transportation social equity, transportation related health issues, transportation efficiency, and the state and scope of rural road construction. Recommendations are advanced for realizing sustainable transportation development in China within a sound economic framework.
