Abstract

This manual offers detailed instructional strategies for guiding individuals of all ages through popular activities using adaptations that foster skill acquisition and inclusion. Among the concepts explored are home-school-community collaboration, choice making and the dignity of risk, and leisure skill acquisition across the life span. With this guide, families, leisure educators, classroom teachers, and recreation professionals will be fully prepared to help people with disabilities enjoy a range of leisure activities.
