Abstract
In this paper a case has been made out in favour of taking up appropriate agroforestry practices to rehabilitate the natural ecosystems, replaced by one managed for subsistence of economic purposes, which inturn are more vulnerable to drought, erosion, pests and all the uncertainties of agriculture.
