Abstract
The attention to alcohol and other drugs in driver education programs has expanded greatly in recent years. Unfortunately, much incorrect information has been presented. This article deals with common misconceptions about alcohol/drug and traffic safety education. Topics include blood alcohol concentration, alcohol-related traffic accidents and deaths, reaction time, and breath and blood tests.
