Abstract
A numerical method is presented for predicting the pressure distribution and other hydrodynamic characteristics of 3-D arbitrary lifting configuration under the linearised water surface condition. The value of complex exponential integral in calculation of wave-making potential is given in tabular form, which greatly improves the computational speed and gives a high accuracy. As a numerical example, the hydrodynamic characteristics of an aft foil-strut-pod configuration of a Jetfoil 929-115 hydrofoil craft was calculated, the numerical results agree well with the experiment data.
