Abstract
The article deals with the projections of highway capacity and level of service of urban and suburban main roads, including street networks with traffic lights, which carry mainly through traffic and provide access to business areas along the route. Urban and suburban main roads include multi-lane main roads, either separated or not, double-lane two-way streets and one-way main roads. Within the system of urban roads, urban and suburban main roads play an important role from the point of view of highway capacity, traffic safety and environmental protection.
