Abstract

This paper describes cavitation investigations carried out by the Hamburg Ship Model Basin (HSVA) on a bulk carrrier, a tanker and five containerships. Among the effects studied were those of the asymmetric stern, the Grim-wheel, and the Schneekluth nozzle.
