Abstract
By means of model experiment on a full size model of anchorage zone section which was based on some cable stayed bridge tower, the evaluation of the anchorage zone of bridge tower£§s operating capability and safety was brought forward, the force transporting device made by I iron was used in the experiment to convert inclined loads to horizontal loads and its effectivenss was good. According to the results, the FEM model was built to analyze the stress field in anchorage zone of bridge tower. Some suggestions about constitution and design were given to guide the construction.
