Abstract
These conference proceedings examine the fields of coastal engineering, geology, oceanography and related disciplines with special attention devoted to quantitative approaches to coastal sediment processes. Topics include fundamentals of coastal sediment transport processes, coastal geologic processes, engineering applications, field data collection projects, mapping shoreline change, trends and rates of sea level change and the impact of Hurricane Hugo.
