Abstract

This paper propose a novel protocol called I-WarpII (Integrated Vehicle-to-Vehicle And Roadside communication Protocol, version II) for constructing a communication system integrating vehicle to vehicle communications and vehicle to roadside communications. By integrating the two communication systems, problems associated with each individual system are lessened, such as communication errors caused by the shadowing phenomenon.
