Abstract
The state of the intelligent transportation systems (ITS) program in Texas is summarized and analyzed. The report first reviews the types of ITS deployments within each Texas Department of Transportation district. The methods used to plan, design, construct, operate and maintain, and evaluate ITS within each district are then discussed and critiqued.
