Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to examine the courier services industry in Canada, regulatory changes in the courier industry, and competition in this industry and the impact of the Internet on this industry. The Canadian courier service industry has been one of the fastest growing segments of the transportation sector. This is hardly surprising, as everyone expects faster service in a world where only the fittest can survive, especially where it involves cost savings.
