Abstract

The favorable performance, the long term economic advantage, and the increasing awareness of bridge engineers and owners that cathodic protection is indeed the only technique that stops rebar corrosion in decks - all these factors suggest that broadening the use of cathodic protection merits serious consideration for preserving our infrastructure from decay.
